| |  | Natalia Peart, Ph.D. - Chief Executive Officer nataliap@ywcaomaha.org Dr. Natalia Peart is a business leader within both the not-for profit and for-profit sectors. Prior to joining the YWCA, she developed and directed organizational programs as well as leadership and management teams. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Brown University and her Doctorate in Clinical and Community Psychology from The University of Maryland. She completed her internship at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School and practiced as a child and adolescent psychologist at institutions that include the Georgetown University Child Development Center and Johns Hopkins' Kennedy Krieger Institute. She then transitioned to business consulting for organizations such as The Corporate Executive Board, and most recently The Gallup Organization. She has lived in Omaha since 2007, has been an adjunct faculty member at University of Nebraska Omaha where she taught Women in Leadership, and currently serves on the UNMC Board of Counselors.
|  | Ellen Freeman-Wakefield, M.P.A. - Chief Operating Officer ellenfw@ywcaomaha.org Ellen Freeman Wakefield's background includes a Masters Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Non-Profit. In addition to the YWCA, she is an adjunct professor at UNO where for the past ten years she has taught Leadership and Administration at both the graduate and undergraduate level. She has served on many collaborative boards and taskforces and currently serves on the following: Domestic Violence Coordinating Council, Nebraska Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Coalition, Midlands Mentoring Partnership and the Certified Public Management Task Force. Prior to working at the YWCA, Freeman-Wakefield worked for Heartland Family Service as Program Director for the Sarpy and Cass County Emergency Services. She received UNO's College of Public Affairs and Community Service (CPACS) Outstanding Alumni Award in 2004 and the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council (DVCC) Program of the Year 2006.
|  | Eric Rein, B.S. - Chief Financial Officer erein@ywcaomaha.org Eric Rein has been managing the financial operations of non-profits for the last 12 years. Prior to the YWCA Rein was CFO at the Visiting Nurse Association. Rein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is certified as a Non-Profit Accounting Professional. Rein is an alum of the Non-profit Executive Institute. The Institute is a program developed by the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands that cultivates nonprofit leadership in the community. He actively serves on other non-profit Finance Committees and has worked and lived in the Omaha community for over 15 years. |  | Mary Kerr, A.A.- Chief Development Officer mkerr@ywcaomaha.org Mary Kerr has a distinguished background in sales and project management for newspapers and nationally recognized magazines. Most recently, she served the Omaha World-Herald for 12 years, creating and developing projects and partnerships for the newspaper and advertisers. Prior to this, Kerr lived in New York and had a successful and award-winning career in various sales and sales management capacities for Departures Magazine, Brides Magazine, American Banker and Mademoiselle Magazine. Kerr holds an Associate of Arts degree from Mount Vernon College, Washington, D.C. Kerr moved to Omaha in 1997 and has been actively involved in the community ever since. |  | Melodae Morris, M.A., APR, SPHR - Marketing & Public Relations Director mmorris@ywcaomaha.org Melodae Morris holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting from Northwest Missouri State University. Morris has achieved Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Most recently she was Sr. Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Clarkson College. Prior to this, she was Vice President of Marketing and Development for Vital Learning Corporation. For the last five years Morris has been an adjunct instructor for the UNO College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media.
|  | Veronica A. Oxford-Jones, M.S. Psy. - Community Educator & Public Policy Director voxfordjones@ywcaomaha.org Veronica A. Oxford Jones experience includes serving as a marketing and communications consultant for the State of Tennessee Department of the Treasury. She coordinated special events for the National Black Caucus of State Legislators Annual Conferences and was appointed to serve on the President of the United States Platform Committee during the 1996 annual convention. Previously, she was Director of Volunteers for Memphis Libraries. She has served as the Director of Cultural Diversity and Special Assistant to the President for Community Relations for Kentucky Community College System. She holds a M.S. in Psychology with a specialization in cultural diversity. She currently serves on Empower Omaha - Violence Intervention and Prevention Crisis Care Response Team, Nebraska Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Coalition and Violence Against Women Act Advisory Committee. |  | Margo Parsow, M.A. - Career and Community Services Director mparsow@ywcaomaha.org Margo Parsow comes to the YWCA with vast experiences as an educator. She has served as the Public Education Officer for the City of Costa Mesa Fire Department, Training and Development Director for Hughes General Motors, and a consultant for Arbor Family Counseling. She has designed management training programs for clients such as PayPal, Mercy Villa, OrthoWest, Clarkson College and Visiting Nurses Association (VNA). She holds a Master of Arts degrees in both Communication and Public Administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Denver University.
|  | Lynn Pollitt, B.A. - Client Services Director lpollitt@ywcaomaha.org Lynn Pollitt brings to the YWCA a wealth of program leadership and outreach experience. She has previously served as the Vice-President of State-wide Programs for Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska, and the Chief Operating Officer for the Great Plains Girl Scouts. At First National Bank of Omaha for many years, she managed a marketing department for the Merchant Services Division, directed the Women's Mentoring Program and worked in management and organizational development. She has also worked as a Youth and Family Director for the YMCA of Lincoln. Pollitt holds a B.A. in English and sociology from Peru State College, Peru, Neb. and is a Certified Experiential Education teacher.

Potter, Ph.D., has worked for over 30 years in the mental health field as a psychiatric nurse, educator, therapist, psychologist, speaker, and consultant. Potter a B.S. in Nursing from Creighton University, a Master's degree in Counseling from UNO, and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from UNL. Previously she was in private practice and co-owned Therapy Resource Associates. She has published articles on the roles adults played as children in alcoholic families and books on trauma treatment. Her areas of expertise include Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT), Systematic Training in Affect and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a certified therapist and approved consultant in EMDR. DR). Potter is in private practice at the Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska. |  | Judy Seeman, IMHP, MS, NCC - Non-Violence Program Director jseeman@ywcaomaha.org Judy Seeman began her career in San Diego working at the University of California at San Diego for 20-years as an operating room nurse. She then returned to Omaha and completed her undergraduate studies at the College of St. Mary's and received her graduate degree in Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She came to the YWCA in August of 1998 as an intern in our Advocate program. She currently directs the YWCA's non-violence program that is certified by the state to provide approved programming for batterers'; one of the few programs in Douglas County that is accredited for referral by the criminal justice system.
|  | Mary Beth Steele, M.S. - Development Director msteele@ywcaomaha.org Mary Beth Steele has worked in non profits for more than 25 years in a variety of capacities. Over the years she has taught kids and adults, worked with volunteers and donors. Mary Beth has extensive experience working with the Board, Guild and Community volunteers on events, membership drives, year end appeals and capital campaigns. At the YWCA she manages our year long giving programs, grants and events. Mary Beth graduated from NWMSU with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and taught for over 10 years, she has her Masters in Environmental Studies from University of Montana, Missoula.
